Our Mission:
To advance the practice of environmentally and economically sound municipal solid waste management.
SWANA is the oldest, largest and most well-respected professional organization in the solid waste field. The association represents some 7,000 solid waste professionals nationwide.

August 18, 2008:
- The results from the 2008 Truck Road-E-O are now available.
The overall Colorado Chapter Champion for the 2008 Road-E-O was Andrew Stewart from the City of Loveland. Andrew along with the other first and second place finishers in each competition category will now have the right to represent our Chapter at the SWANA International Road-E-O in Kentucky in September.
Congratulations to all the winners and event competitors at this year’s road-e-o!

July 30, 2008:
- The 2008 Annual Conference will be on
October 2nd - 3rd at the Golden Hotel, 800 11th Street, Golden, Colorado. Information and electronic registration are now available. Register before September 5 to qualify for the early registration rate.
