Looking for Volunteer Course Proctors for SWANApalooza 2018 in Denver
SWANApalooza 2018 will be held in Denver from March 5 through 7, 2018. As the host chapter, Colorado SWANA is looking to recruit Training Course Proctors for each one of the certification training classes offered. This is a great opportunity for a member to get training and certification in a discipline, not usually offered locally, at no cost.
The role of each Training Course Proctor volunteer is to serve as assistants to the instructors and SWANA staff to ensure that the assigned course runs smoothly. The Training Course Proctor will need to be present for the entire course and perform such duties as checking conference badges, signing CEU forms and making daily announcements as needed. SWANA plans to offer five training courses at SWANApalooza 2018 (thus five Training Course Proctors will be needed). The courses vary in length from two (2) to three (3) days. Each training course proctor will receive complimentary registration for the training course, lunch, and the training course manual. Proctors must be SWANA members. Proctors will need to pay for the certification exam separately. Below are the five training courses scheduled for SWANApalooza 2018 in Denver:
- Landfill Gas Systems Operations & Maintenance
- Manager of Landfill Operations (MOLO)
- Organics Collection
- Transfer Station Management
- Zero Waste Principles and Practices
If you are interested in volunteering as the Training Course Proctor Recruiter, please email email@example.com specifying which training course you are interested in proctoring for and all necessary contact information (name, phone, email, SWANA ID#, etc.). Volunteers will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
For questions, please contact Jill Parisi.
