Highlights from the 2024 Fall Conference

Our Annual Conference on September 23, 24 and 25, 2024 in Breckenridge was a rousing success! It all started with a Safety Class on Monday with Blue Ridge and an afternoon site tour at the most beautiful landfill setting in the world at the Summit County Resource Allocation Park in Dillon. Thank you SCRAP for the use of your facility. Also, on that same Monday, we held our 1st Annual Golf Outing at the Breckenridge Golf Club. A huge thank you to Jeff Reich who organized and ran the event with nearly 40 golfers who enjoyed a near perfect weather day with the Aspens at peak colors. We will do that again in 2025.

We had a record 31 sponsors who provided us some really generous raffle gifts and all attendees had a great time. Our technical sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday were all very interesting and informative; thank you speakers. After our Annual Dinner on Tuesday, we enjoyed a Casino night with Black Jack, Roulette, and Craps. Check out the recap article herein.
